Kathleen enjoys helping people connect the dots between today’s financial decisions and their long-term goals so they can move toward retirement with greater clarity and certainty. Kathleen frequently assists Virginia educators and public employees in understanding their retirement options and planning confidently for the future.

Through her work with Equis Financial and in collaboration with experienced advisors and specialists, Kathleen facilitates client access to a wide range of financial strategies and resources. This team-based approach allows her to help clients explore solutions designed to protect income, preserve assets, reduce debt, and create dependable retirement income.

Earlier in her career, Kathleen spent nearly a decade in public relations, developing strong communication skills that help her guide clients through important financial decisions. She later worked in the student exchange field, supporting international students and their U.S. host families.

While raising her three children, Kathleen remained active in her community through volunteer work and spent several years substitute teaching. These experiences shaped the people-focused approach she brings to her work today — listening carefully, communicating clearly, and helping individuals and families feel more confident in their financial decisions.

Kathleen lives in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley with her husband and is the proud mother of three grown children.
